Yeah this movie is goofy but I still love to watch it over and over again...

And Chris Tucker in his best role ever...

Saw it this afternoon.

O... M... F... G.

Nope, won't post spoilers.  Just go see it if you haven't already.  It's awesome, and very... unique.

You may find yourself in a beautiful house, with a beautiful wife
And you may ask yourself, "Well, how did I get here?"

Catching up on movies that everyone else saw a long time ago.  Why did none of the spoilers ever mention that Pirates of the Caribbean 2 had a non-ending just like Back to the Future 2?  Now I gotta see the third installment for it all to make sense.

I finally saw 300 yesterday.   So awesome.  Definitely going to get it on DVD.

Temperatures have pushed back up into the 80s today for the first time in a couple of weeks.  I can only assume this a bunch of Gulf Coast heat and humidity that's been pushed up north by the remnants of Ike, which are supposed to come through late this evening and bring more rain and thunderstorms.  I'll be happy when we're back in the 60s tomorrow.  I've had enough of the heat and I'm ready for fall.

I'm pissed at Continental Airlines right now.  Like sheep, they followed all the other airlines in adding a $15 charge each way for the FIRST checked bag, and it applies even for travel on tickets obtained by redeeming frequent flyer miles.  Pretty soon they will probably abandon their promise to keep serving free food, as well.  At the rate things are going in the airline industry, it probably won't be long before one of them starts charging fees for seat cushions, oxygen masks, and use of the rest room.  ($15 for the first flush, $25 for each additional flush, $50 for oversize?)

I'm also annoyed that there's no longer any direct flights to San Diego out of Cleveland or any other airport within two hours drive of here.  I'm contemplating flying nonstop into LAX and then driving 2 hours south to San Diego for [info]cinsangel 's wedding next month.  I'm just not sure how much traffic I can expect to run into trying to get back north to LAX on Monday morning for an 11 AM return flight.

Put "I've seen __ of these 168 movies" in the subject line and repost. SUPPOSEDLY if you've seen over 85 movies, you have no life. Mark the ones you've seen. There are 168 movies on this list. Put your score in header and re-post.

(X) Rocky Horror Picture Show
(X) Grease
(X) Pirates of the Caribbean
( ) Boondock Saints
( ) Fight Club
(X) Starsky and Hutch
(X) Neverending Story
(X) Blazing Saddles
(X) Airplane
(X) Braveheart

Total: 8

Iron Man rocked like no movie has ever rocked before.  By far the best film in the Marvel franchise to date.  It puts X-men and Spider-Man to shame.  If you haven't seen it yet, what are you waiting for?  GO SEE IT.  And DO NOT leave before the credits are done running, or you will miss something hella cool.
