This morning was the kind of cold that stops your nose from running in about five seconds flat.

Finished my Christmas shopping over the weekend.

Three days of work this week, then with the holidays and weekends I'm off until January 5th using only three vacation days.  I think there's only about four people planning to actually be in the office next Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday.

Office holiday luncheon is today, too.  Yay free food.  It's even better on a day when I don't want to go outdoors in search of lunch anyway.

Should have some big Gathering of the Gargoyles announcements this week, too... maybe as soon as tomorrow.  Things on that front have been dragging for so long, I'm very anxious to get the real work underway.  I've already promised to get most of the convention's real web site completed over my break.

I also plan to spend a lot of time in City of Heroes.  I have so many characters that need to do winter event stuff.

Time to grab coffee and get Monday started.

Just fulfilled one of my annual Christmastime rituals by watching the made for TV adaptation of "A Christmas Carol" starring George C. Scott as Ebeneezer Scrooge, Edward Woodward as the Ghost of Christmas Present, and David Warner as Bob Cratchit.  It's still by far my favorite version of the story.  The Muppet one is so-so, and the animated Disney version is so rushed and cuts way too much from the story.

There's also a version called "An American Christmas Carol" starting Henry Winkler (aka, The Fonz) that I remember liking, but I haven't seen it aired in a number of years.
