Do you have our card?
I'm on the verge of needing to carry a second wallet just to hold all my non-credit cards.  The following companies and stores have forced their own little plastic customer cards upon me now:

AAA - I haven't needed emergency road service in years but Murphy's Law says the minute I leave this one behind... yeah.

Ford - Two cards!  One for service discounts, one that has the code to the number pad that unlocks the door on my car.

Hertz, Continental Airlines, Hilton Hotels - more stuff to remember to take when I travel.

Officemax, Staples, Best Buy, Sears - "rewards" programs to encourage you to  BUY MOAR STUFF NAO!

Giant Eagle, CVS - where "sale" prices are only valid if you have the card.

Costco - where you can't even walk in the door without the card.

And then there's the other cards that I need to carry, like my license, insurance cards, ATM card, etc.

On second thought, maybe I should just get a purse. :P

I have a definite hate/eyeroll reaction to that term.

See, no female calls her carry bag a 'womanbag'. Handbag, purse, daypack, courier bag, etc. And yet somehow, men can't call whatever bag they use to carry stuff just a bag, courtier bag, backpack, etc. No, it has to be specifically denoted 'manbag.' Which has got to be one of the dumbest terms I have ever heard in gender assignment to an object.

Mostly I blame it on my stepdad who has a 'manbag' that is... a plastic bag from Alltel. And yes, he vehemently refers to it as a 'manbag,' because I tried to point out he could just call it a 'bag' and no one would eyeroll or correct him on it.

Male insecurity leads to the invention of silly language.

I call the soft-sided bag I tote back and forth to work a briefcase. It's too big for taking everywhere, but it doubles as a laptop case when I'm traveling.

It's a "murse."

I've always just heard "man-purse"

"It's my man-purse.."

Bag, backpack, briefcase, tote, etc are more common, though.. "bag" winning by a huge margin, though...

:\

I think man-purse works if it's slightly decorative, styled, etc.. otherwise, bag.

I use man-purse more jokingly than anything, though.. "Hey you left your bag" just rolls off the tongue soo much easier than "Hey you left your man-purse"... :\
